A Work In Progress

I've never really liked labels, I am this, I am that. But in the interest of introducing myself, I can say that I am many things: nurse, writer, photographer, poet, painter, gardener, friend, armchair philosopher, counselor, nature lover, home makeover aficionado, movie buff, practicing yogi, and aspiring world traveler. I think that's a pretty good list for now. I want to become a bigger part of the vital, creative force I feel deeply at work in the world and connect with other people who want to do the same.

“This Solitude” - a poem expressing the feeling I sometimes had in this year of COVID. For introverts like myself, all the social isolation wasn’t such unfamiliar ground, and brought even more moments of quiet self-reflection. Although admittedly now, I’m very glad those days seem to be falling behind us.
These cold, gray days and April showers have at brought out all the #flowers🌸 ☺️
Beautiful view here today of the Hudson River and the still snowy trials of West Mountain ski area. Hard to believe it’s only April in this gorgeous weather.
First hepatica #flowers are up, always such a pretty treat.
Short walk at small but pretty Hovey Pond park after a vet trip last week. Hannah is starting Adequan shots for her arthritis. They seem to be helping, which hopefully means more treks for us this summer ☺️
Thinking back to all of my gardens at the farmhouse today. Sometimes I miss seeing them, but happily I have lots of pictures to remember them by 😌
