A Work In Progress

I've never really liked labels, I am this, I am that. But in the interest of introducing myself, I can say that I am many things: nurse, writer, photographer, poet, painter, gardener, friend, armchair philosopher, counselor, nature lover, home makeover aficionado, movie buff, practicing yogi, and aspiring world traveler. I think that's a pretty good list for now. I want to become a bigger part of the vital, creative force I feel deeply at work in the world and connect with other people who want to do the same.

“The woods are lovely, dark and deep...” definitely thinking of Robert Frost today. I would add windy and icy, but that sounds much less #poetic
SO looking forward to these days again!
I dropped by the reception last night for the new @larac_arts show, really cool to see my #poetryprint on the wall
Not sure what my cat Louis is staring up at, maybe he’s just dazzled by all the sunshine today like I was.
One of my poetry prints has been accepted to hang in the new exhibition at a local art gallery. There was a lot of beautiful work submitted, and I’m happy to be among such great company. The show, titled “Expressions,” will hang through the end of March.
Love seeing the mallard ducks that brave the winters here in #upstateny just like the rest of us. Here a group of them almost swam over for a closer look at me, but then not quite.
