It’s the journey, not the destination…

Shoes are overrated...
Shoes are overrated…

Throughout my life and career, I’ve been fortunate to experience many incarnations: From my early days as a copy editor and writer, to my segue into advertising as graphic designer, photographer, and Web designer, to my role as an RN and holistic health counselor, I’ve constantly grown and embraced positive, creative change. Whenever I felt a calling to explore another path or new industry, I simply went ahead and did it– always keeping in mind that my past has led me to where I am today, and to where I am going tomorrow.

I’ve always been a believer in taking the road less traveled. The road so far has alternately been both bumpy and smooth, scenic and barren, and often involved twists and turns I could never have seen coming. It certainly hasn’t been perfect; but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Personally and professionally, I’ve charted a unique course for myself that has led me to combine my experiences and live a fulfilling and creatively healthy life.

I’ve learned firsthand the value of seeking out different paths in life and work. Here I’ll share my love for images and the written word, including my own work, explain my lasting passions for yoga and Eastern thought, reveal my secret identities as a wanna-be farmer and DIY maven, and follow my pursuit of making the world a healthier, happier, more creative place. This site is about sharing my experiences, for my benefit as well as for others. Thanks for coming to see where I’ve been, where I am today, and where I’m headed.
